I was paired with my mentor this past August after about a year of on and off studying and he provided some really helpful strategies to achieve my goal score in addition to being someone I could be somewhat accountable to to make sure I stay focused. 

I had trouble breaking through a 650 in my practice exams after lots of studying and he helped me achieve a 720 which was my goal score. He also went above and beyond to provide advice on the application process since he happened to be familiar with that as well and always makes himself available.
